Hello There!

I currently am taking some time off, so it’s the perfect time to update my blog with some of my latest works!
Today, I would like to share with you a sculpture that started as a sculptural painting.
You might remember “Controlled Anger”, that I did in 2016. It was a cluster of lush blue growth that were containing a mass of bluish red.
It was part of a short lived series of artworks that were half sculptures, half paintings, but that never really hit the spot for me.

In 2020, I worked on a series of plastic bottles, all in different vibrant colors and I had just one left, which was the exact same shade of the “controlled anger” painting.

And that raspberry red bottle was just standing in my shelf, waiting for its time, until I connected the two artworks.
I completely deconstructed “controlled anger” and added all the growth onto the bottle, adding a little more growth to make it look more organic.

And thus “Anger, Revisited” came to life!

This artwork is still available, however I am not taking orders right now. You can subscribe to my newsletter, I will send an e-mail when my web-shop re-opens.
Currently thinking it will re-open end of January, beginning of February, so I can add new artworks to the mix!
