Various ocean inspired natural shapes are growing on a dark blue book. The book has been cut to ressemble a rock, in which crevasses life is sprouting. Oysters, sea anemones and various shells are taking roots in the cuts. Their colors show a gradient from blue through a muted purple to a bright magenta pink.

The inspiration for this particular piece is very close to where I live. We often go to the ocean, walking in the rocks, marvelling at tide beings: mussels, oysters, anemones, algae and so many more.
