Under the Sea

I Sea You, 2018, Watercolor on Paper, Stephanie KilgastHello Folks!Over the week-end I have painted a bunch of watercolors, mostly in vibrant colors to prove a point in my upcoming Skillshare class, where I will be explaining how to pick and choose colors in your artworks.Since I started sculpting sea turtles last week, in the intend to question plastic pollution, I naturally ended up painting the same theme.I started with the following quick watercolors, a galaxy mushroom, a sea turtle in a bright pink ocean and a rainbow bottle. You can also find these in my shop.
Last note on plastic pollution! To fight it off, you can simply reduce the amount of single plastic use:- Refuse plastic bags at the store and bring your own fabric bags (even for clothes!)- Refuse straws at the bar when taking a drink- Cook from scratch, especially cookies!- Drink tap water if it's safe or buy larger plastic bottles to reduce the amount of plastic- Avoid take-out, rather eat at the restaurant! Or bring your own containers to fill in.- bamboo toothbrushes- wooden Q-tips or no Q-tips at all, just wipe your ears clean with your towel!- pick up trash when you see it in natureFeel free to add more tips to reduce plastic waste in the comment section and I'll add them to the list!xxStéphanie
